Getting started

From zero to your own island in a few minutes.

Join the server

  • Address: play.villagebud.net (the old address 203.16.163.87:20998 still works)
  • Version: Java Edition 1.21.4. Newer 1.21 versions work too. There is no Bedrock support.
  • Mods: none needed. When you join, the server asks to download its resource pack: click Yes. It brings the custom items, creatures and menus.
The pack didn't load? Multiplayer → select VillageBud → Edit → Server Resource Packs: Enabled → Done, then join again.

Your first 10 minutes

  1. /is create: pick one of 14 starting islands. Play solo, or invite friends as island members.
  2. /prestige: claim your free Bee rank.
  3. /nova: the in-game guide. Every system on the server is explained there.
  4. /is upgrade: the cobble generator has 60 tiers, and tier 2 costs just $3,000.
  5. /quest: daily, weekly and monthly quests.
  6. /bp: the Battle Pass. Every island mission gives +100 Battle Pass XP.
  7. /skills: 14 skills up to level 1000.

Good to know

  • /warps takes you around the server, and /warp ranks takes you to the Rank Hall.
  • /daily: a playtime reward every 30 minutes, 24 a day.
  • Link Discord: join our Discord, type /discord link in game and follow the steps. You get 25 Credits, 100 Battle Pass XP and 5 Classic Keys.
  • Vote every day on the vote page. Every vote fills the vote party bar.
  • Something broken? Tell staff on Discord. Dupes and exploits go to staff privately.
