Creatures
Besides vanilla mobs, VillageBud has its own animated creatures. Staff place them around the server; they never spawn on their own.
On the server today
- 18 custom animals: gazelle, elephant, lion, sengi, spitting cobra, crab, pigeon, pukeko and its chick, newt, giant snail, woodlouse, tardigrade, purple bat, sculk raven, end axolotl, guardian cat and spider camel.
- 24 cubees and the shroomling.
Coming soon: 38 new creatures
- Companions: Wolfu, Wood Blaze, Red Spotted Newt, Enderbunny, Slime Bunny, Cookie Golem, Gummy Bear, Jelly Slime

Some will become pets in the new pet system, some bosses, and some will just live around the world. The players vote on which is which.
Credits
The animals and creatures are free models from Blockbench Workshop. Thank you to the artists! VillageBud changed them for its model engine: they were converted, re-centred and scaled, some box-shaped parts were rebuilt as cubes (Vulture, Camel), and new idle and walk animations were made where a model had none. The crab was recoloured.
